Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 August 2026
Short version: HeadsUpDaddy collects no personal data. There is no account, no server, no sync, no analytics, and no crash reporter. Everything the app does — predictions, notifications, all of it — happens on your device. On the App Store, HeadsUpDaddy's privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
This Privacy Policy explains how the HeadsUpDaddy app (“HeadsUpDaddy”, “the app”, “we”, “us”), published by WakeSys sarl (Luxembourg), handles information. By using HeadsUpDaddy you agree to this policy.
1. We do not collect personal data
HeadsUpDaddy does not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information about you or the people whose cycles you track. We operate no backend and use no analytics or advertising SDKs. The app does not create an account and does not contact us in the background, ever.
2. Information stored on your device
To do its job, HeadsUpDaddy saves data locally on your device: the profiles you create, the dates you log, tone and notification settings, and consent acknowledgements. It's a plain data file protected by iOS's own on-device file protection — not a database we can query, because we never see it. It is removed when you delete the app or the individual profile.
3. Data about another person
HeadsUpDaddy exists to track someone other than the person holding the phone. That data is entered by you, stays on your device, and is never transmitted anywhere by the app — including to us. The app requires you to acknowledge, before a profile becomes active, that she knows about it or that you intend to tell her; see Yes, She Knows for how that works and how she can review or delete her own data on your device at any time.
4. Optional encrypted backup
Because there is no server, HeadsUpDaddy offers a manual, opt-in encrypted export: you choose a passphrase, the app encrypts your data with it (PBKDF2 key derivation and AES-GCM), and you save or share the resulting file yourself — AirDrop, Files, wherever you choose. We never see the passphrase or the file. If you lose the passphrase, the backup cannot be recovered by us or by anyone; there is no reset link, because there is no account to reset.
5. App lock
If you turn on app lock, HeadsUpDaddy uses Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode through Apple's own authentication system. The app never sees, stores, or has access to your passcode or biometric data — that stays inside iOS.
6. No tracking or advertising
HeadsUpDaddy contains no third-party tracking, no advertising, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. It does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not present App Tracking Transparency prompts, because it tracks nothing.
7. Children's privacy
HeadsUpDaddy is rated 17+ and is intended to be used by an adult. A profile you create for a daughter is data you enter about her, stored only on your own device — we never collect it, see it, or receive it in any form, from anyone, of any age. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and there is nothing on our end to access, correct, or delete.
8. GDPR (EU/EEA/UK)
HeadsUpDaddy does not collect or process personal data on any server, so the disclosure and consent obligations of GDPR Articles 13–14 are not triggered by the app itself. Any processing of data about another person happens entirely on your own device, under your own control, as the person who installed and configured the app.
9. California (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. Because no personal information is collected, there is nothing to access, delete, or opt out of with respect to the app.
10. App Store privacy label
Consistent with this policy, HeadsUpDaddy's Apple App Store privacy information is declared as “Data Not Collected.”
11. Uninstalling deletes everything
There is no server to restore from. If you delete HeadsUpDaddy without exporting an encrypted backup first, every profile and every logged date is gone, irrecoverably. This is the cost of an app that has nowhere else to keep your data — we think it's the right trade, but you should know it before you have two years of history on the line.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
